2020 Spectacular Planning on Hold
Due to the Covid 19 Virus restrictions the St. George Motor Boat Club is not currently open to guests or able to host events (although a take away service is available). Therefore planning for the 2020 Spectacular, Vintage & Veteran boat display and Australian FF championship races is currently on hold. Centenary Speedboat Spectacular E.O.I. now open
In order to finalise the line up of events for the Centenary Speedboat Spectacular on 23 and 24 May and the Vintage & Veteran Boats demonstration on 30 May 2020, Expressions of Interest are now requested for the Speedboat Spectacular. MEMBERSHIP – Special Offer
The St. George Power Boat Club is about to issue the new membership cards to all current members. To celebrate we are offering a special deal for the month of February 2020 for new and renewing memberships, five years membership for the price of four (total of $20). After February membership rates will revert to the annual fee of $5 per annum. Renew now to avoid any increase in membership fees over the next five years.
St. George Motor Boat Club Centenary (1920 – 2020)
Preparations are well underway for the Spectacular of the Century to be held on 23 and 24 May 2020 to mark the centenary of the St. George Motor Boat Club. The following weekend (30 & 31 May 2020) events will be held for Vintage Boats and the Australian Formula Futures Championship. Entry will be by invitation following a call for expressions of interest to participate.
