2021 Spectacular Cancelled
Due to the additional personnel required to manage covid 19 limitations in addition to the usual race day activities the decision has been made to regretfully cancel the Speedboat Spectacular and Championship races for 2021. We are hopeful that we will back up and running next year. We are still planning to hold the Formula Futures Championships on 3rd. July 2021. Planning Still On Hold
As there has been no indication from Government as to a time frame for the commencement of sporting activities, and no announcement from the APBA as to an expected date, planning for our 2020 Spectacular, Championship races and V&V display is still on hold. Once we have some dates to work with, we will reschedule our planned activities, for possibly late 2020 or sometime in 2021.
2020 Spectacular Planning on Hold
Due to the Covid 19 Virus restrictions the St. George Motor Boat Club is not currently open to guests or able to host events (although a take away service is available). In order to finalise the line up of events for the Centenary Speedboat Spectacular on 23 and 24 May and the Vintage & Veteran Boats demonstration on 30 May 2020, Expressions of Interest are now requested for the Speedboat Spectacular.
